Beef Wellington originated in England and is a steak dish of epic flavour. It is made out of steak (preferably Fillet) coated with pâté (usually pâté de foie gras) and finely chopped mushrooms, Then wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Some cooks even wrap the whole thing in parma ham to retain the moisture and prevent it from making the pastry soggy.
